In February 2008, Marmot Reps John Bragg & Brenton Reagan embark to South America's Patagonian region in an attempt to climb Mt Fitzroy. Check back often for regular dispatches from the trip and for all of them visit the Fitzroy Dispatch Archive.
Return to Fitzroy 2008 will be Bragg's third trip to the mountain. He is accompanied by Reagan, an Exum Mountain Guide, in a goal to climb the Northwest Ridge.

Hey you guys, it’s Brenton and John.
We’re back down in town. We had to pull all our stuff down from the pass. The weather window that was forecasted never happened.
So we spent the last couple days up there in the snow, rain, and cold - in the tent, shivering - hoping that we would get another shot at it. Monday afternoon it cleared up for about 1/2 day so we toured around the glacier and got some exercise and looked at some potential new routes for next year.
But we had a great time - always wish the weather was better. But better luck next time.
