Hey guys, it’s Brenton and John again.
It’s Sunday for us, you guys will get this Monday. We’ll be back out on the route again.
We came up last week, left you guys a message. We had a massive stove malfunction – it just wasn’t working. So we ran the 6-1/2 hours back downhill and the 8 hours back up hill today to pack.
It was kind of rainy today. Then It got really freakin' windy as we were coming up to the pass. It was knocking down on our feet, quite exciting.
Looks like it’s clearing up, although it did bring in a cold front. It already dropped about 10 degrees – it’s probably about 25 degrees out right now.
So we’re all wearing about all of our clothes. We’re going to head up on the route tomorrow, have a go at it.
So we’re looking up at Fitzroy - just cold and windy up there. But as a great wise man once said – and also he was a scholar -
“Looks cold . . . . . but at least it’s windy.”
So, we’ve got enough food, got enough fuel. Not sure what’s going to happen, but we’re going to continue on in good style. Love you guys – bye.
