Hello Ya’ll!  I’m Mike and I live/play/ski out of the Wydaho region of the Tetons.  At age 29, this is my 26th season making turns at Grand Targhee. 
 
I have been skiing at a professional level for 10 years and have been working with various sponsors since the age of thirteen.  A long time veteran of the Freeskiing World Tour, I have acquired top 15 finishes and a Freeskiing World Tour Qualifier win.  Having had the opportunity to work with several film companies throughout my career, I have been fortunate to travel the U.S., Canada, and Europe while doing so. I have also worked on several films as a cinematographer, associate producer, and marketing consultant.  
 
I recently founded TetonFreeRide(.com) and am working alongside Grand Targhee Resort and local ski programs to form a freeride ski/snowboard education program and events in the area.  My goal is to incorporate the sport of freeride skiing into their overall marketing plan and future  programs.  Through implementing new ideas and working closely with the resort I believe we can produce a program that will make new headway in the FreeRide movement. 

Skiing has become more than just a part of my life, but literally my lively hood in many ways.  Along with being one of the mountain ambassadors, I work as I professional ski patrol at Grand Targhee Resort and am as proud as can be to call the Tetons home!
