Super Hero Jacket
What is the ultimate backcountry ski jacket? A jacket that’s breathability will match the large gulps of air you are drinking while trying to keep up with your legs, and one that will keep the elements out when the promise of another powder day suddenly reveals itself. And since we professionals are always in synthetics, preferably one that doesn’t feel like the same old petroleum product it really is. I think that the Super Hero matches this description well and I don’t see any reason to change my wardrobe for a long time to come. It just so happens that it is the perfect jacket for anything from a day of backcountry skiing, ice climbing to guiding Everest. With about 40 handmade stitches I was able to close the gap in the hood and it still zips off and zips in, a simple yet functional improvement to be shared!
